Focusing on D2 Golf Balls 

D2 golf balls, particularly the Top Flite D2 are included in the list of golf balls with good performance.  The D2 golf balls were designed to provide a greater distance in driver and fairway woods and some of the golfers observed that the said balls have outrun the E6 golf balls but have not gotten as far as the HX Hot golf balls.  The cover which is slightly firmer in the Top Flite D2 balls speeds up the ball in flight and are best used for hitting off in the fairways..  The D2 golf balls, just like the previously mentioned golf balls have a soft feel on the tee due to the softer as well as thinner cover found on these golf balls.

Top Flite D2 golf balls have a new technology introducing the Dimple in Dimple Aerodynamic pattern found on the cover.  This just means that there are smaller dimples underneath each of the regular sized dimples.  It is said that the feature of having a Dimple in Dimple Aerodynamic pattern in your D2 golf balls would be more lift creation due to the decrease of drag.  This technology also makes Top FLite D2 balls as the softest in the Top Flite collection of golf balls.
